Here, we have a real opportunity to support a current Rotary priority. Mental health is an initiative led from the top by the current Rotary President and actively supported by our D7090 Governor, who writes in that;These past few months of travelling around our District and meeting with Rotarians have confirmed that the Rotary theme of "Create Hope in the World" with a focus on Mental Health Issues is a theme that many people find very necessary and needed in our communities. I have been asking clubs to consider taking on projects that focus on the area of mental health or bring in speakers to address the issue. There are many ways to be involved, but if you need some ideas or a boost to get your club involved, then you may want to consider joining Rotary President Gord McInally on Tuesday, October 10th at 7:00 p.m. on his Webinar. President Gord will talk about all the number of ways we can address this issue and provide some motivation for doing it.
