2014 has been a very successful year for Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise.  But we look ahead with great anticipation.

The team led by now Past-President Gail Bouw has many accomplishments to be proud of. Several of those leaders remain on the new team, for effective continuity, but led by now President Sue O’Dwyer.  Sue was described as a “retread”, having served as President several years earlier.  Sue promises to bring change, and to invigorate the club.Image

Master of Ceremonies at the Changeover Meeting, Melanie Douglas, tried her best to keep the speakers on task.

  • Gail Bouw thanked her team and led with a “Happy Buck” for an end to a successful year
  • Keith Flexman inducted the new officers
  • Sue O’Dwyer led an assessment of attendees, and determined that the majority preferred the shape of a circle, concluding that our minds are preoccupied with sex (note to self – don’t count on Sue to conduct research)
  • Keith Jones presented to Bill Clevette a sapphire-level Paul Harris Fellowship Award
