Crawford Lake Beauties

This lake on the Niagara Escarpment in Halton County is deep enough that 500-year old corn pollen was discovered near the bottom that had not decomposed. This proved that an Iroquoian community was cultivating corn and a historic village was then discovered nearby comprised of longhouses.
