Again this year, Bettyann Carty coordinated our outreach to Indwell in the form of New Year's Eve meal contributions to the residents of both Hambleton Hall and Dogwood Suites. With generous funding support from our own club and community donors, as well as the assistance of the local Swiss Chalet owner, manager and staff, we gathered up 92 complete meal packs and delivered them to the very grateful residents living in both of the Simcoe-based Indwell facilities (see the 'Read more ...' tab). Along with each Swiss Chalet meal pack delivered, the Indwell residents also received a gift card for use at Food Basics.
For everyone involved, it was a great way to end the old year and usher in a promising new one.
BZ to Bettyann and those who contributed to make her passion so worthwhile.
Thank you to the staff at Indwell for doing such important community support work and Happy New Year to all concerned.
