Shane Dewaard from Klassic Coconut receives a thank you from President Marjorie Dawson for his presentation at the March 28, 2017 breakfast meeting.
 
Klassic Coconut was established in 1986. The sweetened coconut/toasted coconut production facility and warehouse has been located on Bowell Street in Simcoe since 2014. There is a small retail store on site as well. With 30 employees, it is the largest producer of toasted coconut in North America. Desiccated coconut is imported primarily from the Philippines for the operation.
 
RCNS made a donation in Shane's name to Operation Eyesight in order that eyesight be restored to another. Thank you for your presentation Shane.
