At our morning meeting on 20 June, we were pleased to be able to make a donation to the ongoing development work going on in Port Dover as concerns the Silver Lake Revitalization Project.Presenting the cheque on behalf of our Club were Community Service members Dave Nicolle and Jim Peters - accepting on behalf of the Port Dover Waterfront Preservation Association were Jim Dover and Jack Lavery from the Silver Lake team.
The donation goes towards funding some early signage along the lake - copies of the three 'story boards' we have funded are shown by clicking on the 'Read More ...' tab below.
Following the cheque presentation, Jim Dover expressed the team's gratitude and gave us a brief update on the progress being made - there's a long path in front but optimism along the way.
