The Norfolk community was very fortunate this year when four young people were sponsored by three Rotary clubs to participate in RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award).  It's a week-long leadership training program, and we learned first hand today from Amanda, Ben, Nikki and Jenelle how this program will have long lasting impact within our community through the four young people who attended.

For the three Rotary Clubs - Norfolk Sunrise, Simcoe, and Fort Erie - it's a powerful investment into the human resources within the community that will pay dividends for years to come as these young people contribute their skills, enthusiasm and dedication to support the kinds of work that Rotarians also support. The "Service Above Self" bug is a bit contagious, apparently.  For these young people, RYLA may be the spark that generates a Rotaract Club in Norfolk - so stay tuned.
