Dave Thompson is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist who operates Norfolk Holistic Foods on Peel St., Simcoe. Dave presented a collection of tips for healthy living to Norfolk Sunrise members at our meeting September 24th. These include:
· Drink lots of water – half your weight in ounces of water daily
· Get adequate sleep
· Exercise, to keep your lymphatic system flowing
· Practice good nutrition – especially important is consuming adequate essential fatty acids (Omega-3 specifically)
· Restrict sugar and salt intake
