The Norfolk Sunrise fundraising initiative to sell bags of goodies as provided from our local Norfolk vendors has been concluded with great success. After a huge effort on the part of our organizing team and wonderful support from our participating vendors, we distributed 195 bags to those who supported the cause. There are so many to thank ....- first of all to everyone who purchased a bag and created the funding we will use to support our community next year;
- next to the vendors who provided such a creative trove of appealing county items;
- next to our sponsor, who generously offered up a special prize for a special supporter; and finally
- to our RCNS organizing team whose creativity and hard work brought this to fruition.
The pandemic may be changing the way we do things but it's definitely not stopping us from giving back!
