Waterford Trail – Stairway to Town

Dec 18 2012: Members of the Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise approved a donation of $4,000 to assist in the installation of stairs that connect the Waterford Heritage Trail at the Black Bridge to the lower Waterfront trail. The donation includes a recently approved Rotary Foundation District Simplified Grant of $2,000 from Rotary District 7090. To date the Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise has provided $8,500 supporting trail improvements in the Waterford area . Waterford Heritage Trail users will now be able to use the stairs to access the lower trail and downtown of area Waterford from the high level black bridge.
